Well done to all of the children today for coming in wearing their sporty clothes. They all looked fab! But they didn’t just look the part, they were amazing runners/ walkers too. All of the children ran/ walked a mile or even further around our fabulous, new running track. Not an easy task when you only have little legs! All of the children impressed their teachers with their determination and enthusiasm to keep on going for the 15 minutes that they ran for. Well done to everyone! Also, a big thank you to everyone who has bought a Sport Relief band or got some sponsorship for their run to raise money for good causes.
After using up lots of energy in the morning, the children were able to buy some delicious fruit from the School Council’s fruit stall in the afternoon. They had apple and grape fruit cups and a mystery fruit cup that had lots of yummy, exciting fruits in.
What a super healthy and energetic day we have had! :)
