Y6 Trip to Lincoln Cathedral
On Wednesday, Year 6 pupils enjoyed a day at Lincoln Cathedral for the Church Schools Festival. They enjoyed a fabulous day taking part in different workshops including a choral workshop in the amazing Cathedral Quire and drama & story- telling workshops. They also enjoyed learning all about the Cathedral and its amazing history through tours led by Cathedral volunteers. After eating our packed lunches (as well as having time to spend our money in the shop!), we joined all the other schools for a celebration service at the end of the day. As part of this service, four of our Year 6 pupils took part in a procession holding our school banner and a lit candle which had been blessed earlier on.
