Harvest Festival
St. Anne's School, family and friends gathered today at the church for our Harvest Festival service. The children all participated and a lovely time was had by all. Great singing everyone!
The Foundation Stage children began by delivering our Harvest gifts to the altar, then this was followed by Year Four who performed a fantastic Harvest Poem and Year Two amazed us with their sign language skills during their Thanksgiving Song. Thank you also to Year Six for their Harvest facts and prayers, and to the school choir who lifted the volume and sang a beautiful version of The Lord's Prayer. Vicar David delivered a special message encouraging us not to waste food and to show that we are thankful.
Thank you to everyone who sent Harvest gifts. These will be passed on to the Food Bank and we are sure they will be greatly appreciated.
