Grantham Swimarathon

Grantham Swimarathon

​On Friday the 6th of February, a group of swimmers from Year 4, 5 and 6 took part in the Grantham Rotary Club’s annual Swim Marathon event. They swam non-stop for an hour and the three teams collectively racked up over 300 lengths of the pool! We are very proud of all the children and members of staff who took part.

World Book Day 2015

The children and staff at St Anne’s celebrated the annual World Book Day on Thursday 5th March. The school was overrun with a wide range of characters from all kinds of books as the children arrived dressed in great costumes.

On Friday 15th Match, St-Anne’s held a pyjama party for the whole school! Both children and staff made a fantastic effort and came in dressed in their pyjamas, onesies and dressing gowns.

Y4 Visit 'The Galleries of Justice' in Nottingham

Y4 Visit 'The Galleries of Justice' in Nottingham

​As part of our crime and punishment topic ‘The God, The Bad and The Ugly’ Year Four went to ‘The Galleries of Justice’ in Nottingham. The children took part in a Crime and Punishment Tour where they witnessed a real trial in the original Victorian Courtroom. During the afternoon session the children took part in a CSI type of investigation.

Y2 Trip to Hunstanton

Y2 Trip to Hunstanton

Y2 had a fantastic time at Hunstanton as part of our Wish You Were Here! topic. The day started with a trip to the Sealife Centre. We spent a couple of hours learning and exploring. It was great to see the penguins being fed and some of us were brave enough to touch some of the real life sea creatures.
