Parents and Grandparents join us in the classroom for some learning!
After some very persuasive speeches and a tense vote count we can now reveal our new School Councillors for this academic year.
The sun was shining and St. Anne’s Church full today for our super Harvest Festival.
On Thursday 17th September a selected group of Year 6’s went to watch the Murderous Maths show at Walton Girls. The show was presented by Kjartan Poskitt.
We would like to welcome back all of our children to St. Anne’s School and in particular a warm welcome our new Foundation Stage children.
Y2 had a fantastic time at Hunstanton as part of our Wish You Were Here! topic. The day started with a trip to the Sealife Centre. We spent a couple of hours learning and exploring. It was great to see the penguins being fed and some of us were brave enough to touch some of the real life sea creatures.
On Wednesday 10th June, Mr Austin, Mrs Ingham, Nadia and Jonah (two of our Year Six pupils) went to Lincoln Cathedral to take part in the celebrations to mark the 800th anniversary of the Magna Carta.
As part of our crime and punishment topic ‘The God, The Bad and The Ugly’ Year Four went to ‘The Galleries of Justice’ in Nottingham. The children took part in a Crime and Punishment Tour where they witnessed a real trial in the original Victorian Courtroom. During the afternoon session the children took part in a CSI type of investigation.
The Foundation Stage had a fantastic morning at Seaford Tesco learning about where our food comes from and how it gets to the supermarket shelves.
