Children in Need
Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s the children of St Anne’s school all dressed up and ready to face the day ahead. The enthusiasm of the children shone throughout the day, which was positive, as it appeared all the staff members had outgrown their Spiderman onesie’s of yesteryear.
Hulks to Batmen, Captain America’s to Ironmen, Elsa’s to Anna’s and even a war veteran entered school, buzzing for the day ahead.
Unfortunately for the children, lessons still had to take priority on this day, in between having class and group photo’s of course. However, it wasn’t until the end of the day when everyone could really appreciate the amount of effort that had gone into what the children were wearing.
A sense of excitement hung in the air of celebration assembly as everyone entered. It was the first time that Key Stage One, Two and Foundation Stage had been together all day, and all the members of staff agreed that they looked fantastic.
It was a truly great day, which was made by the efforts of the children. Well done to you all, thank you for all your donations to Children in Need.
