On Friday the 6th of February, a group of swimmers from Year 4, 5 and 6 took part in the Grantham Rotary Club’s annual Swim Marathon event. They swam non-stop for an hour and the three teams collectively racked up over 300 lengths of the pool! We are very proud of all the children and members of staff who took part.
We all joined together this afternoon in St Anne’s church for our Christingle celebration. Well done to Year 2 who reminded us of the Nativity story through narrated verse and amazing acting. Thanks also goes to the choir who led us in singing some of our favourite carols. Vicar David encouraged us all to remember Jesus as the light of the world at this very important time of the year.
It just leaves the family of St Anne’s to say a massive thank you to all of the lovely people who have followed us on our new website this term – THANK YOU.
Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year …. See you in 2015!
It was finally time for the FS & KS1 and KS2 Christmas parties today! The children looked brilliant in their outfits and everyone left with a smile on their face! Merry Christmas!
The whole school ventured out to Newark this morning for our yearly pantomime visit.
Watch out Britain’s Got Talent, we have a few stars of the future at St Anne’s!
This year’s Christmas Shows were amazing. A fantastic effort from all the children, as well as inspiring choreography and expert direction from the teachers.
On Wednesday 5th November Key Stage 2 went to the Crematorium for a Remembrance Service.
On Friday 10th October the St Anne’s School Choir opened the performance at the King’s School. They were an absolute credit to the school in both singing and behaviour.
Well done choir – you did us proud!
