Everyone across the school looked cool in blue for School Council’s fundraising day for the charity ‘Toilet Twinning’.
Welcome back to school!
Year 5 have just completed the first period of home learning at St Anne’s. Everyone worked extremely hard during what was a tricky time but it was lovely for us all to meet each morning on Zoom and share our learning from the previous day. We are now back in school and ready to enjoy the rest of the Autumn term. Thank you to all the pupils, parents and staff who made this such a smooth process.
Since the initial lockdown we have been working closely with the National Online Safety organisation to makesure that we are able to support our whole school community with their eSafety needs. 😊
We were all in need of some Comic Relief after the past year!
On Friday the 6th of February, a group of swimmers from Year 4, 5 and 6 took part in the Grantham Rotary Club’s annual Swim Marathon event. They swam non-stop for an hour and the three teams collectively racked up over 300 lengths of the pool! We are very proud of all the children and members of staff who took part.
Year 6 enjoyed a trip to the wonderful Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
We could not celebrate our Christingle Service at St Anne’s Church as usual this year so held celebrations differently across the school.
Year 2 and 3 visited Grimsthorpe Castle today for an amazing free outdoor education day experiencing activities that showcase everyday life and roles on a countryside estate.
