Christmas Fair
Thank you to everyone who came to support our Christmas Fair – there was an amazing turnout and thanks to your support and some inventive stalls (slime and balancing a coin on an iceberg anyone!) we managed to raise over £600!

After a lovely day at Lincoln Cathedral’s Christmas Choir Festival, the choir continued to spread festive joy with two visits to local care homes for the elderly. Led by Mr Austin, our choir sang to residents of Avery Lodge and Castlegate care homes. They even upped the tempo with a couple of performances from our recent Lights, Camel, Action performance!
The whole school ventured out to Newark this morning for our yearly pantomime visit.
Year 6 again enjoyed their annual residential to PGL at Caythorpe Court. Once they wake up again, we’re sure they’ll be more than happy to tell you all about it!
What a busy 2018 we have had! Thank you so much for all the support you have given school over the course of this year. From our very successful OFSTED inspection, open afternoons, sports day, not to mention Summer and Christmas fairs, right up until our Christingle service on Wednesday it has been a pleasure to share this year with you all. We look forward to this continuing into 2019 and beyond.
Merry Christmas everyone, and a Happy New Year. We wish you a fun-filled and relaxing (if you can!) holiday. See you in 2019!
Yesterday, Mr Pinchbeck took 6 year 5 children to a goal ball competition. In goal ball, the participants are blindfolded and have to protect their goal. There is a bell in the ball so the participants can hear where it is. St Anne’s took two teams of 3 children each, and both teams finished 3rd! Well done to all 6 Year 5 children who took part.
Breaking news just in! Year 2 Celebration Assembly went down a storm!
Year 4 visited the National Justice Museum in Nottingham.
The whole school celebrated world book day in style today by coming to school dressed as their favourite book characters.
Year 1’s Phonics Phenomenon!
