After a lovely day at Lincoln Cathedral’s Christmas Choir Festival, the choir continued to spread festive joy with two visits to local care homes for the elderly. Led by Mr Austin, our choir sang to residents of Avery Lodge and Castlegate care homes. They even upped the tempo with a couple of performances from our recent Lights, Camel, Action performance!

Today, Years 5 & 6 were fortunate enough to visit St Andrew’s Church to see their ‘Sea of Poppies’ display as part of the Heckington 100 project, which is being done to mark the centenary of the First World War. This unique display of poppies, for Remembrance Sunday, contains over 18,000 knitted poppies, which have been handcrafted by people across Lincolnshire and around the world.
