A massive thank you to all of the parents and carers who turned out on a very wet day for our Open Afternoon. The children absolutely loved sharing their learning and completing tricky challenges, games and activities with their families and friends. We hope that you enjoyed taking part just as much as the staff and children did. Thanks again for all of your support for and encouragement of the amazing children of St Anne’s!
Year 3 had a fantastic day learning about life in Roman times during their experience day with Partake History.
Year 3 had an amazing time today on our trip to the Collection Museum in Lincoln.
Year 6 enjoyed a wonderful day at Lincoln Cathedral for the Church Schools’ Festival.
All the children Reception had a fantastic time on our class trip to Sacrewell Farm, as part of our topic, ‘All Creatures Great & Small’. The sun was shining and all the animals looking happy in their fields as we arrived at the farm on the bus. We had a great time pond dipping, finding lots of interesting creatures and then went for a very bumpy tractor ride! We saw fruit trees, beehives and even saw a field full of porridge (oats)! After lunch, we got to spend some time meeting all the animals, including lambs, goats, small furries and some very friendly pigs. We even got to practise milking Daisy the cow! It was a very exciting day and we learnt lots about how farms work and all the animals there.
Welcome back for another exciting school year. We’ve got our pencils sharpened, our crisp new books out and we’re ready to go!
