Y2 Woolsthorpe Manor Trip
What a wonderful day we had! Today, Year 2 explored the birth place of Sir Isaac Newton, one of our local heroes! We have been learning about him in our History lessons and the children impressed the staff at the Woolsthorpe Manor with their knowledge. The children visited Sir Isaac Newton's bedroom, learned about some of his most famous discoveries and sat around the apple tree which is said to have inspired Newton's theories about gravity. The children have returned as experts on Sir Issac Newton. Ask them to share with you what they know.
