Y2 Trip to Newark Air Museum
What a fantastic learning experience for our History unit about the history of flight. Year 2 enjoyed an informative trip to Newark Air Museum to learn all about early aircraft and how aeroplanes have changed over the past 100 years. We were able to see some of the earliest examples of aircraft and find out how aeroplanes have changed over the past 100 years. The children were particularly thrilled by the opportunity to climb inside an aeroplane and sit in a cockpit. What a treat! In addition, children made paper aeroplanes and took part in an investigation into whose would go the furtherest. What a brilliant day we had!
