FS & Y1 Science Week Vet Visit
As part of St Anne's Science Week, children in YR and Y1 were excited to find out all about life as a veterinary surgeon from our special visitor today, Gavan. He brought a range of cuddly 'pets' to school to explain to the children about some of the things he has to do in order to take care of people's animals and keep them healthy. The children enjoyed learning about completing health checks, treatments for injuries and were fascinated by everything that Gavan had to say and how science was a really important part of his job. We definitely think he inspired some of our youngest children to become vets when they are older! Thank you, Gavan!
