Poppies and Poetry Workshop
Today we had the agency "West End in Schools" come in to do drama with Key Stages 1 and 2. The drama was based on war time, with the children looking at war-time propaganda posters, poems and songs. The children all had to create different freeze frames and join in with parts of the poems.
They all generated some brilliant ideas and learnt a lot about the attitudes surrounding World War 1 and 2.
