Gravity Fields at Woolsthorpe Manor

Gravity Fields at Woolsthorpe Manor

Year 3 and 4 have had an amazing time at Woolsthorpe Manor this morning as part of the Gravity Fields Science and Arts Festival. The children took part in an action packed morning learning about science and art concepts. First we were entertained by Dr Ken who demonstrated how Friction and Gravity work using circus tricks. Next we took a tour of the Manor and learnt all about Sir Isaac Newton's experiments when he lived there. He did some gruesome experiments to investigate how the eye worked. We finished the morning by making artwork with Sam in Year 4's Mum using special chemicals and light. Thank you to all at Gravity Fields.

Science is Amazing!
