Y6 Gravity Fields Artwork on Display
Year 6 were visited by a local artist Jayne Ballam who assisted them to create artwork for the Gravity Fields Festival. They made beautiful foam Gardenias, Jasmines and Banana Palms to celebrate the work of local Botanist Joseph Banks who took part in CaptainJames Cooks maiden voyage, visiting Brazil, Tahiti, and, after 6 months in New Zealand, Australia, returning to immediate fame.
Come along to theFestival on Saturday 29th September where the artwork will be part of the main event. We will process along the Main Street with our work along with other schools to St. Peter's Hill at 7pm. Great work Year 6!
