Year 6 visit PGL
On Monday 7th November, the Year 6 children went to PGL at Caythorpe for a fun-filled, action-packed week of adventures and challenges.
On arrival we were met by our 'Groupie', Jo, who took us on a tour of the site and showed us our accommodation block, where we were to be sleeping for the week. We then had a great first dinner before taking part in a campfire, singing lots of songs.
During our time at PGL, we took part in lots of different activities: Jacob's ladder, all aboard, trapeze, climbing, rifle shooting, abseiling, quad biking, orienteering and more! Throughout the week, the children showed great determination and achieved so many great things. They knew that the week was about pushing themselves to try new things and conquer fears, which they certainly did.
By the end of the week, the children (and adults) were certainly tired but all had such a great week. Every single pupil has achieved so much and should feel very proud!
