Year 6 Visit the National Holocaust Centre
As part of their Bombs, Battles & Bravery topic, Year 6 spent the day at the National Holocaust Centre in Newark. It was an informative and interesting day which highlighted the suffering the Jewish people faced both before WW2 as well as during it.
We even got the chance to speak with a Holocaust survivor who was brimming with interesting stories of his life.
This was certainly an eye-opening trip, and one that we would all recommend.
