Christingle Service
This afternoon, the children, staff, governors, parents and friends of St Anne’s gathered together for our Christingle Service at St Anne’s Church. Children in Year 2 reenacted the Nativity story through narrative verse and some wonderful acting. Year 4 gave us a Christmas lesson through some amazing choral poetry. Year 6 read a letter from the Bishop and led the prayers and the Choir led the singing of our favourite carols. Well done children.
Special thanks also goes to Vicar David and Liz Boland for reminding us of the true meaning of Christmas and that Jesus is the light of the world before the lighting of our Christingles.
